Be sure to join the Ontario Edible Education Network for this exciting discussion on School Food Gardens. Sunday Harrison, Executive Director of Green Thumbs Growing Kids, has over a decade of experience helping gardens flourish in schoolyards throughout Toronto. Sunday has seen the benefits of school gardening in action and she’s also got the research to back it up! We’ll be profiling some great school garden designs, and speaking with school garden leaders in the field. Panelists include Katie German with FoodShare’s SchoolGrown program; Natalie Boustead with PACT’s Grow to Learn program; and Shamima Basrai, a teacher at Castlebridge PS.
