This map was developed in partnership with the Coalition for Healthy School Food to share stories about school food programs in Indigenous communities and for Indigenous students. It allows viewers to access stories in the media and stories that are shared on organizations’ and schools’ websites. Reach out to Carolyn Webb at CWebb@sustainontario.ca if you’d like to put your program on the map!

The Indigenous School Food Circle is an initiative co-hosted by the Coalition for Healthy School Food, Canadian Feed the Children and Farm to Cafeteria Canada. It has been established (1) To inform how the Coalition advocates for funding for school food programs in Indigenous communities and for Indigenous students, and (2) To support replication, networking and sharing of best practices among school food programs in Indigenous communities and for Indigenous students.
Visit the Coalition’s website to learn more about the Circle.
