Understanding the Impacts of Farm to School Canada Grants in Schools

Farm to Cafeteria Canada wants to better understand how your school has been using the Farm to School Canada Grant and implementing farm to school activities in your school, to the extent that’s been possible. We ask you to consider the full course of the grant from 2020/21 and 2021/22 school years when responding to the questions below. This information will help us report on collective successes and challenges and better support your school and other grantee schools.

We know that this grant term has been challenging, and that you had to deviate from your original plans. This is OK! We just want to hear what activities you were able to carry out and how that impacted your school community.

This survey should be completed by your farm to school program coordinator (or other member of your school team knowledgeable about the program). It includes questions about farm to school activities and the impacts of these activities on your school community.

This survey will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete, depending on the level of detail you wish to share. It must be completed in one sitting – you will not be able save changes and come back to complete the survey. For this reason, please plan your responses to the questions ahead of time with the survey questions provided to you via email.

Personal information collected is for internal tracking purposes, and in case we need to follow-up with you to clarify any details. The information you provide here will be aggregated so that we can report on the impacts of the grants program as a whole. Individual responses will not be directly linked to schools or individuals who completed reports in the public-facing reporting.
