Amberley T. Ruetz is a Ph.D. Candidate and Arrell Food Scholar at the University of Guelph. As a community-engaged researcher and a former practitioner in the Ontario Student Nutrition Program, Amberley works and volunteers at municipal, provincial, and national levels to advance school food programming and research in Canada. In 2019, she was invited to the Government of Canada’s first roundtable on developing a National School Food Program and is a regular op-ed contributor on school food and farm-to-school programs.
Amberley is located on the territories on the Haudenosaunee Anishinabewak, Attiwonderonk peoples and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
