Biography

She/her

Jyotika is passionate about advancing policies and programs that support children and youth in learning about and growing food in their communities. She is committed to addressing public policy issues that promote equitable access to resources informed by community needs. Her ability to collaborate across sectors and navigate complex policy landscapes enables her to design and implement effective strategies that drive impactful change. Having previously worked with F2CC as the Program and Evaluation Coordinator, she is thrilled to return in an advisory capacity. 

She holds a Master of Public Policy from Simon Fraser University and currently works as a policy analyst for the Government of Yukon. Jyotika resides in Whitehorse, Yukon. Since her move to Whitehorse in 2022, she has been working diligently to improve her cooking skills.

Jyotika currently lives on the Traditional Territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council.
