Tammy is a Dietitian by trade has been privileged to work with the Meadow Lake Tribal Council Health for 20 years and during the past two years has been working as a project manager for the School Food Development Project – a collaboration among the U of S and Meadow Lake Tribal Council Education. As a settler, Tammy is grateful to work, live and play in the traditional and territory lands of Treaty’s’ 6, 8 and 10 and the homelands of the Metis.
Tammy is passionate about all things food and especially about food sovereignty. She and her husband are proud parents to three children, and they enjoy a variety of active pursuits together, including: hobby beekeeping, gardening, cooking, hiking, skiing, canoeing, and foraging. They have lived in the Meadow Lake area for the past 22 yrs.
