School Description
New Germany Rural High School is a 7-12 school located in New Germany, Nova Scotia. We have roughly 340 students. We have many food related projects such as a school salad bar, large school garden, fruit tree orchard (apple, pear, and cherry) that were planted by students, raspberry, rhubarb, and blackberry patches, blueberries, and haskaps. In the classrooms we have grow light setups, a hydroponic tower garden, industrial food dehydrator, and two grow tents to help us grow and preserve food year round.
