Revised Canada’s Food Guide is released
The Food Policy for Canada is launched. Several of its priority outcomes and focus areas are aligned with F2CC’s farm to school work.
School food is included in the federal budget for the first time (although, no funding is committed)
Food in the Anthropocene, a groundbreaking global report on the alignment between healthy diets and sustainable food systems, is released by the EAT-Lancet Commission.
